Randomy photo - picture of the rare native species from the area. This grass is killed off in most of the area around 19 century by importing the European grasses that cattle preferred. And now they feed cattle with the corn....

Day 33 - 12.03.2011

Jemima's Photo - You can always tell when I've forgotten to take a photo in the day time because I end up photographing something from around the house!  This time it's the saviour of my stomach :-D  My beloved strawberry flavoured Gaviscon tablets - without a dose of these every day I'd be riddled with acid indigestion.  Ooh the joys of pregnancy!!

Day 32 - 11.03.2011

Jemima's Photo - Back at the hospital today so took a photo of how far on the demolition had got on.  For an idea of scale the water is coming from the same place as in the last photo.  The whole bit of building that was being demolished on Monday is gone!

Jemima's Photo - Brrr.... it's got cold again so inspired by Randomy's photo of her log fire I took one of my own!  (Ahem... nothing wrong with my imagination!  I didn't leave the house so had to take inspiration from somewhere!)

Randomy photo - A water levels inside the main telescope dome. Since it sits in the lake, the foundations are often flooded and this is the level water reached during this winter.
